Thames Valley Music School offers personalized indiviual instruction
for students of all ages and abilities in keyboard, wind and stringed instruments,
percussion, voice and music theory, as well as several ensembles.
- Lessons - private instruction offered weekly September
- June followed by a 8-week Summer Session.
- Thames Valley Youth Symphony - for advanced
high school students and talented musicians seeking the opportunity to perform
in the highest quality orchestral enviornment.
- Thames Valley Wind Symphony - an honors band
program for high school musicians.
- Advanced String Orchestra - an ensemble
for string musicians in grades 6, 7, and 8.
- Junior String Orchestra - an ensemble for
string musicians in grades 4 and 5.
- Arts Camp - an exploratory 2-week summer program
exploring arts, music, theater, dance and musical theater.
Private Lessons:
Private lessons run continuously throughout the year. New students 
can register and begin weekly lessons at anytime. Continuous registration encourages
the continuity necessary for success in any area of study and also gives stability
to the schedules of the faculty and school.
Registration:
A registration fee of $25 will apply for all new students. (Students who miss
more than six months of lessons will need to register again.) Fees reduced for
two or more in a family, and a 10% discount will apply for senior citizens.
Financial Assistance:
TVMS has funds available for student financial assistance. Assistance will
be given based on financial need.
