TVMS Wind Symphony

A winter program that is open by audition to area high school students who are playing in their high school bands. This symphonic band studies advanced material. Thames Valley Wind Symphony is professionally conducted and culminates with a recorded formal concert.

SCHEDULE

• All rehearsals and the concert will be held at Evans Hall at Connecticut College

• Students must attend all rehearsals in order to perform in the concert

• Dinner will be provided 1/22 (PIZZA)

• The $40 participation fee, which includes a CD and DVD of the concert, is due at the first rehearsal

• Concert dress is all black

Monday, January 11

5:30-8:30 pm Rehearsal
6:00 Directors Meeting

Thursday, January 21

5:30-8:30 pm Sectional Rehearsals with coaches from the Coast Guard Band

Friday, January 22

3:30-5:45 pm Rehearsal
5:45 pm Dinner – Pizza provided
6:30-9:00 pm Rehearsal

Saturday, January 23
12:45 pm - Report in full concert dress, eat before you arrive
1:00-1:30 pm Final Rehearsal/Warm-up
2:00 pm Concert
