Allison Landstedt

ALLISON LANDSTEDT, soprano, is the sole vocalist representing the U.S. Coast Guard Band and demonstrates the vocal mastery of numerous styles, including Broadway, opera, and commercial singing. She earned her BFA at Carnegie Mellon University, Master of Music in Voice at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and is completing her Doctorate in Voice at the University of British Columbia.

Landstedt was recognized nationally for her televised solo performance at the historic Yankee Stadium in New York. Video performances of her singing have reached millions of viewers. She has sung for some of the highest-ranking United States government officials, including the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, the Commandant US Coast Guard, the Deputy Secretary of DHS, as well as Fortune 500 executives.

Landstedt is a dedicated and lively voice instructor. Her students have been accepted to Opera Artist Diploma and Bachelor of Musical Theater programs and won spots in professional theater companies across the U.S. and Canada. Her students have earned top prizes at singing, acting, and choral focused competitions. Landstedt won the 2013 Best Leading Actress in a Musical award for the state of Texas, continuing to the Broadway stage to compete in The Jimmy Awards, a televised national competition for winners of each state. She was four times awarded Best Actress in the 2013 Texas UIL One-Act-Play Competition and winner of the Honorable Mention All-star cast. For operatic singing, she was a finalist in the 2019 Patricia Corbett Competition and the 2018 Lewis Foundation Vocal Competition.

Landstedt has coached with world-class artists such as Martin Katz, Kathy Kelly, Gary Wedow, and Howard Watkins. Her voice teachers include J. Patrick Raftery, Gwen Coleman, and Daniel Teadt.
