Musical Theater Cabaret Class
New this summer, this select vocal ensemble will meet weekly to sing works from the Broadway repertoire in cabaret style. Topics include: Vocal technique, ensemble technique, singing through acting, Broadway style dancing and discussions

Jazz
The TVMS Jazz Band is designed for music students in grades 7-12 who are looking for an ensemble experience that will provide them with the opportunity to learn and perform standard big band arrangements as well as modern jazz in the styles of funk and hip-hop. This hard-working, spirited group is perfect for players at the medium to advanced levels who are open and excited to develop improvisational skills and learn what it means to play in an ensemble.

Fiddles On Fire
This is a fun ensemble for any string player (violin, viola, cello, bass) with at least 2 years of experience. Students will improve learning by ear and reading music as they are exposed to the techniques of a great fiddler. This group will experience improvisation methods, build confidence in playing melodies and bass lines and learn how to develop blazing chops as they prepare for a final performance at the end of the summer!
