Led by Lisa Gray, this program is based on Julie Lieberman’s String Informance® approach, which integrates strong string technique with contemporary styles, rhythmic awareness, and improvisation. Students will learn music in an engaging, supportive environment that values both skill-building and creative expression.

Sailing the High Seas!

Sailing the High Seas! is an 8-week beginner string adventure where students learn violin, viola, cello, or bass through sea shanties, ocean-themed music, and weekly nautical dress-up themes.

Each session brings a new musical “destination,” keeping students engaged, motivated, and excited to return each week. The program culminates in a fun, low-pressure concert for families on the final day—celebrating progress, confidence, and teamwork.
